Sleep Apnea Cardiovascular Endpoints Study (SAVE)

Save is a multi-centre, randomised, controlled trial to determine the effects of nasal continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) in preventing cardiovascular (CV) disease in high risk patients with moderate-severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). See Study Overview.

A pivotal research programme involving sleep and CV medicine experts aimed at producing high level evidence to inform clinical decision making and future health policy in a large and increasing area of global disease burden.

Invitations are sought from industry, professional groups and scientific funding bodies for partnerships with the academic group on this project.
